In the News!

The Daily Press newspaper has always been so good to us! That whole lone farmer in the midst of the city tends to make for interesting and novel news reports.

This spring has been no exception. Last week (2-9-2012) Shannon Humphrey of the Daily Press did an article in the local Newport News section all about who we are and what we do. It was really a great piece. There are a couple of typos in flower names, but you get the idea anyway!

Shannon highlighted our March 24 Organic Workshop and we really appreciate that, we are closing in on selling out of seats and the program is still 5 weeks away!

And then we are in the paper again Feb 16 with Kathy Van Mullekom! We are so thankful for all the local interest.

Kathy’s article in the Room and Yard section was on seed starting. Perfectly timed and also highlighted my program March 10 with the York County Master Gardener event at Tabb High School. This article went all over the country. Miami, Kansas City, and others!
