These trays are sturdy. excellent quality. I tried these specifically for the watering benefits mentioned, the trough, or channel they provide works as described & demonstrated. I also tried the styrofoam trays, I am well pleased with both types of trays. They stood up to a lot of use all spring and summer 2022. All the trays washed up very well, I will be using them all again for 2023. For me they were well worth the cost to try seed starting as recommended. I’ve tried seed starting many other ways, with domes, no heat mat etc. This is the most successful experience by far. Very very enjoyable.
