Salvia, Blue Bedder, Salvia farinacea, 100 seeds avg. 

Deep, violet-blue flower spikes rise above gray-green foliage. Long-blooming, adored by pollinators, and beautiful both in the garden and in bouquets.

Planting Tips:

• A cool-season hardy annual (or perennial in zones 8-10) that prefers full to part sun
• Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before planting date or cast seeds directly in the garden
• Gently press seed into soil, but do not cover
• Allow 5-14 days to germinate
• Space plants 12” apart in the garden
• Grows to 24-36” tall
• 100-110 days to bloom
• Winter hardy to zone 8

Harvesting Tips:

• Harvest at the base of the stem once the bottom 3-4 flowers have opened
