I am a flower farmer in SW Kansas, very small side hustle that’s turned into a real business. We live in a rural area and I’ve found my niche selling bouquets to a couple of grocery stores and a convenience store. Sell about 20-30 bouquets a week, keeps me hopping! I’ve used Quick Dip before on floppy flower emergencies, works well. Now I use it on my assembled bouquets after I cut the stems and before I put them into my display buckets. People always say my bouquets last so long! I think it’s proper harvesting + Quick Dip + Chrysal tea bag in the display buckets! Thanks! Debbie
These have been real stunners in the garden. Almost 100% germination. Some seeds were not the mix, I think a few flamingo plumes got in, but for the most part, almost entirely what was ordered. The different members of the community garden consistently take photos and ask to harvest a bloom or two. Very easy, which was great for my first time growing this flower. As usual, nice and tall. I liked the mix for my first time, but next year when I grow again, I'll just order my favorite colors. Hey are long lasting in the vase, and can work as either a filler when they are smaller (shown in bouquet as green filler) or be the star of the show when large (as shown in garden photos before harvesting). I need to hone when to harvest, since I have had the seeds sprinkle on the table, but once I get that down, there will be no problem.
I love bachlor buttons for the ipm benefits in the spring, my customers love them in baby shower bouquets for the blue or pink colors, and I dry every bloom i can for my dried art for fall sales!
I took Jennie Love’s Workshop class when she first offered it. I’ve been teaching floral workshops (fresh, everlasting wreaths, and glass ornaments) for a while now. The classes are offered through our city’s Parks and Rec department. This year the wreath class sold out in 2 days! Jennie’s workshop taught me what to focus on so that I am confident when presenting one of our city’s recreational programs. I highly encourage anyone who is considering workshops to take this class.
These are a bright spot in the garden and they are holding up extremely well in bouquets! I'm in zone 6b. I planted them in the spring. In June & July they shot up in height and have been bloomin' like crazy! Their bright color really makes them stand out wherever they are planted. I'm very satisfied with this purchase, from start-ordering to finish-blooms! :)
The first year I bought these seeds, I had trouble getting them to germinate, so I thought I would try the next year but, Pelleted! So I took some fine-grain sandpaper and ran the seeds over it, and to my surprise, almost every one of them germinated. I am now on my third year using the same pelleted seed packs from GW, and again, great germination.
I ordered prairie sun Rebecca, but the only thing I received was the brown black eyed Susan, I’ve been trying for ever to obtain the prairie sun with no luck, love the others, but wish I could finally get the right seed.

I am using it to support my growing cypress vines. They're still fairly small so a little hard to see. Did this last summer and it worked great! In the past I've used it for supporting my zinnias.

We want you to know that we use the same seeds on our own flower farm and regularly test for quality and viability. However, we also understand that many factors—such as soil conditions, watering practices, temperature, and planting depth—can affect germination outcomes.
The netting is doing exactly what I had hoped. It is helping to keep my sunflowers and zinnias straight and tall.
So far, amazing!!! Easy to install, keeps the weeds at bay, and reduces the amount of irrigation needed. Seedlings really take off when transplanted. Can’t begin to calculate how much time I’m saving by not constantly weeding :)
I'm in Zone 6b. I just started cutting the Orlaya stems to use those pretty, white delicate blooms in bouquets. They are so pretty! The greenery is also very full in that section of the garden row. It looks like a healthy bush with white blooms. Such soft foilage & very eye catching bright, blooms! Of course, the delicate, white blooms look splendid in the bouquets too! :)
It was easy to put down, but you if you have any wind it is difficult to use this product. All sides were buried with dirt, but when you put the holes in it for planting, it takes off like a kite. The only reason it is still. Somewhat on the rose is because we have netting over the top of it. If you are growing in an environment that has wind this may not be the right ground cover for that environmental situation.
These hoops are perfect! They are sturdy but easy to bend and get into the ground. Also, they are easy to store when not using. We are currently using them with burlap as a frost cloth and then will take them up to use as a bird netting on some young berry bushes that still have a low profile. We do recommend ground staples to anchor the covering that you place onto the hoops - also recommend ordering cover that is wider than the hoop. We will be ordering more of these.
My silver dollar seeds had a great germination rate and are ready to plant in the garden as soon as we stop getting frost warnings. Unfortunately I opened the wrong end of my other seed packet and lost all the seeds down the drain. I'll know better next time!
Otherwise the seeds arrived quickly and I was happy with the process.
I searched every where for metal garden hoops and could not find them anywhere. Luckily I found them here. They work great, and are excellent quality. They are pre-shaped (I’ve seen ones that come as straight rods, but you need a special device to bend them). Only downside is the shipping cost if you are not local to the store- but based on the non-standard packaging needed, I understand the need for the extra cost. Highly recommend if you need to keep deer and other critters from eating your hostas!
My pansies look dead after winter and I sprayed Foop one time and it revived them! Now I’ve also bought the concentrate to be able to refill my little spray bottle. Love this stuff. Not too stinky and has a minty kind of smell so it makes it easier for me to put in my landscape near my neighbors.

I started with the smaller blocks just added a little water to the compost made great blocks Seeds to plants went great loved it Didn’t take up as much space
I'm an amateur, this is my first season. Ping pong came up quickly and has been looking great so far. I'm not great with seed depth so I think that may be the problem with the ones that haven't come up yet. So excited to see the flowers!
I had never heard of soil blocking but Dec 17 I was in an accident which broke two vertebrae and during my recovery when I was not allowed to do anything I started watch your videos and knew I needed to try this because I couldn’t use my greenhouse and needed to save space to do it in my house. I absolutely love it my plants are so healthy growing very well - too well. I’m zone 6 A and no where near ready to put them outside
