Deep red foliage with a maple leaf appearance that is perfect for late summer and fall bouquets.
Planting Tips:
- A tender annual that prefers full sun.
- Plant after danger of frost has passed and once the soil is warmed.
- Start seeds indoors 4-5 weeks before planting date.
- Cover seed with 1/8" of soil; allowing 3-5 days to germinate.
- Space 18-24" apart in the garden.
- Grows to 48-60" tall.
- 115-130 days to bloom.
Harvesting Tips:
- Makes excellent fresh cut foliage.
- Harvest when fully developed.
- Make the cut at the base of the stem to encourage regrowth.

I used the ziplock method/warm place in the evening and 100% had sprouted by the next afternoon, so I planted them out. Ordered on May 14th, shipped the next day, and I got them on May 18th. Planted sprouted seeds on May 19th. It is June 5th and they’re about 2″ tall. Couldn’t recommend enough. This is after having a pack from another popular seed seller that had 0% germination. So, very happy to have these seeds!
