Sunflower, ProCut® Plum, Helianthus - 50 or 200 seeds avg

The ProCut Series are some of the fastest-growing sunflowers. This seed is day length neutral which means it performs well in the fall!

Planting Tips:
  • 4-6” pollenless beautiful blooms.
  • Annual.
  • Full sun.
  • Easy to start from seed in the garden or start indoors to get an earlier start.
  • Plant out after last danger of frost.
  • Plant spacing determines sunflower head size: 6″ apart make nice bouquet size heads of 4″, for larger flower heads plant 12″ apart in the garden.
  • 55-60 days to bloom.
  • Expect 60” tall.
Harvesting Tips:
  • Harvest the bloom just as it begins to crack open.
  • It will continue to open indoors free from pests and the drying sun.
  • Leave the bloom in the garden to develop seeds for the birds.

This was my first time even considering growing my own flowers. Since Flowers are so expensive I decided to attempt to grow Sunflowers for my wedding this fall. After much research I decided procut sunflowers could bloom by my wedding date. The seeds I purchased have bloomed within 5 days after being direct sown into my new raised garden bed. Every morning I wake up excited to see how my babies are growing. Every single seed has sprouted up and I'm so excited to see them grow! Thank you so much and I will be purchasing more seeds from you guys again in the future!

We use the same seeds on our own flower farm and regularly test for quality and viability. However, we also understand that many factors—such as soil conditions, watering practices, temperature, and planting depth—can affect germination outcomes.
