Gorgeous, golden yellow globes atop stiff, wiry stems. Grass-like, silvery green foliage. An excellent cut flower and landscape plant, s22as well as a great air-dried flower.
Planting Tips:
- A cool-season hardy annual that prefers full sun.
- May be able to be grown as a perennial in climates that do not experience freezing temperatures.
- Transplanting is recommended.
- Start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before planting date.
- Cover seeds with soil.
- Allow 10-18 days to germinate.
- Space plants 6-12” apart in the garden.
- Grows to 24-36” tall.
- 110-120 days to bloom.
- Winter hardy to zone 7.
Harvesting Tips:
- Harvest fully developed blooms at the base of the stem to encourage regrowth.
- Drumsticks make excellent fresh and dried cut flowers.
