A beautiful two-tone yellow flower with a green eye.

Planting Tips:

  • Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before planting date or cast seeds directly in the garden.
  • Do not cover seed; allow 7-14 days to germinate.
  • Ht. 24"-36".

  • Winter hardy in zone 5 and south.
  • 90-105 days to bloom.
  • Also known as: Rudbeckia.
Keep the Blooms Coming:

Customer photo review of Black-Eyed Susan, Prairie Sun

I ordered prairie sun Rebecca, but the only thing I received was the brown black eyed Susan, I’ve been trying for ever to obtain the prairie sun with no luck, love the others, but wish I could finally get the right seed.

Customer photo review of Black-Eyed Susan, Prairie Sun

Almost 100% germination. Keeping fingers crossed.

Only about half the seeds germinated

Terrible germination. Asked for a refund or replacement (mind you I ordered $90 worth of a variety of seeds and just asked about this one pack), and I was told no, they don’t refund for poor germination despite only getting 10%. Bad taste in my mouth after order seeds and one of their online courses and following their instructions to a T.

Received my seeds and have planted them with winter sowing method. Can’t wait to see them this summer!
