Frequently Asked Questions

Online Course Questions

What is the difference in Workshops and School courses?

Workshops vary from sixty minutes to over five hours of instruction, see individual courses for details. Each of these courses offers lots of valuable information on a specific topic that you can digest in a short amount of time and put into action right away.

School course content is much more comprehensive and covers broad topics. School courses are meant to serve as a long-term reference tool that you will use all throughout the course of your flower farming journey. Each course includes 6 modules, which each contain multiple video training sessions, instructor worksheets, and handouts, and an FAQ archive. All of the course sessions (including the FAQs) are searchable by keyword, so you can always find and go directly to the information that you need at any given time.

Do you offer course discounts?

Yes, once you are part of our course family (owning any online course or workshop) you will automatically receive a special $50 off coupon code via email to use towards any of our School Courses. Please note, you must use this code to receive the discount. After 30 days of purchase no discount refunds are given.

Do you offer a payment plan?
Our schools offer a 2-installment payment plan. If the second payment is not received, you will lose all access to the course, and the first payment will not be refunded. Full refunds with no questions asked are given upon email request within 7 days of the first payment. Once a refund has been issued, you will lose all access to the course.

Can I share my course content with a friend, garden club, or other groups?
To maintain the integrity and affordability of our programs, each TGW course allows access to only one paid subscriber. The purchaser’s private viewing may include family members and employees. If a private Facebook group is associated with a course it may only be accessed by a single user.  TGW asks that each student respect this policy accordingly.

How does the money back guarantee work?

Each School Course includes access to a private Facebook Community. Workshops do not include the community, questions can be emailed to [email protected]Special note to non-Facebook users:  Being in the group is just an added bonus to the learning experience. Each course is a stand alone and the community is a perk.  Anyone that is not a current Facebook user can join Facebook and only use it to be a part of this group. The encouragement and sharing of information in this group have been instrumental for many.

Shipping & Shop Questions

Those items marked have an additional shipping charge due to weight, size, or additional parcels. Please see below to determine your Shipping Zone and Additional Shipping Charges.

What is the refund & return policy?

Curious about your order?

Please begin by checking your shipping confirmation email for tracking details and an estimated delivery date. Sometimes emails end up in a spam or junk folder, so give that a quick look too. If your order includes multiple items, they might arrive separately, each with its own delivery date and tracking info.

If the expected delivery date has passed, please keep in mind that factors like weather, holidays, and traffic can sometimes cause delays. Usually, late packages arrive within 24 to 48 hours of the expected date.

Once your order is shipped, it can’t be canceled. If the carrier encounters delivery issues, they’ll send the order back to us. Once we receive it, we’ll automatically refund you for the products (shipping isn’t refundable).

Wondering why your delivery is running late?

Your best bet is to check your tracking info in the shipping email you received. It’s got all the latest updates, including an estimated delivery date. If your order hasn’t arrived by that date, you might want to reach out to the carrier directly—they may have some extra insight.

Please keep in mind that some products with unique shapes or sizes might take longer to arrive, up to 30 business days. If after 30 business days your package hasn’t arrived, at that point it’s considered missing. Please let us know, and we’ll sort things out!

Can I change an order after being submitted?

Once an order is submitted, we are unable to modify it. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Orders placed via our website undergo immediate preauthorization for the total order amount, and cannot be added to. If you have forgotten an item, you will need to place another web order.

Do you ship to Alaska or Hawaii?
Yes! We ship to both Alaska and Hawaii.
Do you ship to Canada, or outside the US?
Sorry, we do not ship outside of the United States.
How will my order be shipped and how quickly will it go out?

Our warehouse team processes orders Mondays – Thursdays. Most orders are shipped within 2-3 business days. Large or oddly shaped items may need to be split into multiple shipments and could take up to 30 days to arrive. Orders are shipped via USPS or UPS depending on the package and/or destination. Tracking is sent once an order ships. We are unable to expedite orders at this time.

Do you ship your cut flowers?

No, we do not ship our flowers. We encourage you to find local seasonal flowers through a flower farm or floral designer listed on ASCFG.

Fresh Cut Flowers

Can I buy fresh cut flowers from The Gardener’s Workshop?

2021 was our farewell season for growing and selling cut flowers from our city flower farm. After 23 years of serving 23 florists, 2 supermarket chains, 3 farmers markets, a bouquet subscription service, and our members-only flower market we are excited for our giant cutting gardens to become a downsized learning garden.

We are still growing a cutting garden for filming and photography for our online Learning Center, live events, courses, and our online garden shop.

The best is yet to come!
