#43 – Open Farm Highlights with Dave, Ellen, Lisa & Val

Today, Layne talks to flower experts and online course instructors Dave Dowling, Ellen Frost, Val Schirmer, and Lisa regarding their experiences at the Open Farm 2023 event. Dave and Val share some hydrangea and amaryllis tips, and Layne and Hrach (Layne’s husband) talk about the seed scene at the warehouse and discuss seed storage, deer-resistant cool flowers, and the most popular seeds of the day. Ellen shares some design tips and discusses the importance of scent in bouquets, and Lisa gives advice on how to keep your flowers upright when it rains.
