Soil Block Maker, Large - Makes Four 2" Blocks
Soil blocking is a simple and easy way to start seeds in a home setting. The Large Blocker is perfect for planting those larger seeds like squash and sunflowers. There are no pots or trays to store or purchase each year. We use trays without drainage holes so it can be done anywhere indoors. We find that the seedlings are healthier, grow quicker and in general hit the ground running and suffer no transplant shock. * This blocker is transitioning to a black finish. During this change, you may receive either a silver or black soil blocker. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.

Soil Blocking Facts:
- The large soil blocker makes one set of four 2” blocks
- We use this size blocker for larger size seeds such as sunflowers, sweet peas, beans, zucchini, and the like
- The large soil blocker can be equipped with cube inserts that allow you to move a seedling growing in a 3/4” soil block into the larger soil block to continue its growth. Inserts sold separately

These soil blocks are wonderful. I haven’t transplanted to the garden yet but I’m imagining that the seedlings will take to it much better.

Couldn't believe how quickly the seeds germinated and the roots began growing down to the trays. I started a few zinnias late in May as I am in Michigan and they already have buds on them.
10 out of 10 recommend this soil blocker if you're interested in soil blocking! It's so fun to use, easy to squeeze, and easy to clean. I did forget to clean it overnight once and I didn't rust, so that's a bonus!
Love my new block makers! The instructions were easy to follow. I made several blocks for my Zinnas and they grew fast and healthy! This is a game changer for me. Love the simplicity and the fact that I am using way less plastic. Will definitely recommend to all my friends!
This broke the first day I was using it. I will have the handle rewelded before I can try again.
