March 23 Newport News Organic Workshop and Farm Tour

I am joined by two other local professionals who like me, put their love of gardening to work and made it into their careers–and we do it the all-natural organic way. Heather, Amy and I will be sharing the secrets of our trade that are time tested and without using expensive chemicals. You will learn how to; start from seed, get your garden off to a great start with soil preparations,  grow delirious vegetables and when to harvest for best keeping and how to have the best lawn on the block–organically!

$40 per person, includes lunch. Preregistration is required. 100% of the proceeds from this workshop benefit a local food pantry.

Following  the program walk down the road to Lisa’s farm for a tour and a time of shopping the warehouse shelves of the Gardener’s Workshop–a once a year opportunity!
