Millet, Lime Light, Setaria italic – 50 or 200 seeds avg

A corn-like plant that has green foliage and a draping head. If the flower heads are left in the garden to go to seed, the birds adore eating them.

To have a continuous supply of Sunflowers and Lime Light Millet on our cut-flower farm we plant some each week. Both have similar seed to bloom timing (60-70 days) which makes them perfect garden mates.

Planting Tips:

• Full Sun.
• Ht. 36-60″.
• Start seeds indoors for an early start or plant directly in the garden after danger of frost and the soil has begun to warm.
• Do not cover seed, 5-10 days to germinate.
• Harvest heads when fully mature for best color.

KEEP THE blooms COMING:

• Makes excellent fresh and dried cut flowers.
• Harvest when fully developed, making the cut at the base of the stem to encourage regrowth.
