Toranados

I am starting this day full of thankfulness for things I took for granted yesterday. You see, last evenings tornados moved through our area and devastated families, homes, businesses and neighborhoods. Some how everything has been re-prioritized and those silly little things that had me tied in knots yesterday just don’t seem to be very important today.

I am saddened to say that sometimes it takes these types of events to ground those of us that are on the sidelines. As I was glued to the news last evening as this unfolded to see if any tornados where coming our way, I was thinking to myself “and you where belly aching over not being able to plant the back garden today!”

The ground will dry and I will plant in time—

I am thankful that we where spared damaged and will keep all those concerned in our prayers.
