Planting Tips: 

  • A warm-season crop that prefers full sun.
  • Plant outdoors after danger of frost has passed and soil has warmed.
  • Sowing seeds directly in the garden is recommended.
  • Beans germinate best when soil temperatures are 70-90℉.
  • At a minimum, daytime soil temperatures should be at least 60℉.
  • Sow seeds 2” apart in rows 20-36” apart.
  • Sow seeds 1” deep and cover with soil.
  • Allow 7-10 days to germinate.
  • 50 days to maturity.

Harvesting Tips: 

  • Harvest pods regularly as they mature.
  • Sow successions every 10-21 days for a steady supply.
