Dill ‘Bouquet’, Anethum graveolens - 100 seeds avg.
The spectacular umbel blooms appear as fireworks bursting throughout the garden and it does the same in bouquets.
Planting Tips:
- A cool-season hardy annual that prefers full sun.
- Planting seeds directly in the garden is preferred.
- Cover seed; allow 7-14 days to germinate.
- Thin seedlings once 5" tall to 9" apart in the garden.
- Ht. 24"-60".
- Winter hardy in zone 8 and south.
Keep the Blooms Coming:
- Harvest the central stem just above the lowest three to four side shoots.
- Cut future stems at the base of the stem. Harvest when half of the tiny blooms are open.
- Leave a few flower heads on the plants in the garden to encourage reseeding.

Hi Delanie, I’m not sure where you are located but cool temperatures really slow down the sprouting process. Dill seeds should be covered with about 1/4″ of soil, planted when days are warm and nights are cool, and it takes 10-14 days to sprout. Hope this helps, Lisa
