- Planting seeds directly in the garden is preferred.
- Do not cover seed; allow 14-21 days to germinate.
- Thin seedlings to 9" apart in the garden.
- Grows 36"-60" tall.
- Winter hardy in zone 6 and south.
Keep the Blooms Coming:
- Make the harvest cut of seed pods at the base of the stem at ground level.
- More shoots will continue to develop and mature.

I’m having a hard time with these seeds. It is probably all user error. I can’t seems to keep the ants from eating all of them immediately. I’ve started them in trays and in the ground and I have witnessed ants devouring them. I’ve tried cinnamon and cayenne pepper and nothing seems to work. Wish I could find these in plugs. But I will continue trying seeds and if you have any recommendations I would gladly take them.
